Cookie Policy

This policy explains the essential cookie-like technologies and local storage currently used, their duration and how to manage them.

1. Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser. localStorage can persist after a session ends, while sessionStorage normally ends with the relevant browsing session. Cloud Staking currently relies mainly on localStorage and sessionStorage for local functions.

2. Storage currently used

  • insightarc_lang: selected language.
  • insightarc_profile: display name, optional email and creation date.
  • insightarc_history: recent quiz results, distribution and dates.
  • insightarc_contact_drafts: up to five form drafts.
  • insightarc_cookie_session: remembers within the current session that the essential notice was closed.

3. Duration

localStorage has no fixed site-set expiry and normally remains until you clear it or the browser removes it. History is limited to 24 entries and drafts to 5. The session notice state normally ends with the session, so the banner appears again on a new visit or browser session.

4. Why it is necessary

The storage supports language, optional local profile, quiz history, draft recovery and notice state. You can use quizzes without creating a profile. Blocking storage may prevent settings and history from persisting.

5. Technologies not used

This build does not enable advertising cookies, remarketing, cross-site tracking, third-party analytics, social-media pixels, precise location, fingerprinting or advertising audiences. Quiz results are not supplied to advertisers.

6. Managing or deleting storage

You can delete profile and history on the profile page or clear the site through browser cookie, site-data or storage settings. Private browsing may reduce persistence. Browser controls vary, and blocking all storage can affect functionality.

7. Third parties and future changes

Your browser, device, email application or hosting provider may use necessary technologies under its own control. If non-essential analytics or advertising is introduced, this policy and the choice interface will be updated with provider, purpose, data type and duration, and consent will be requested where required.
